When the packet of breads are missing from the kitchen and you have some left over chapatis from the previous meal, Bombay Chapati sandwich is best option.
INGREDIENTS :
1. ) 4 left over chapatis
2. ) 2 medium boiled and peeled potato cut slices
3. ) 1 medium capsicum cut ring
4. ) 2 medium tomatoes cut slices
5. ) 2 medium onion cut slices
6. ) 2-3 cubes amul cheese
7. ) as per taste chat masala
8. ) 2 tbsp sandwich masala
9. ) 1 tsp oil
10.) 2 tbsp amul butter room temp.
11. ) pinch of salt
12. ) 1 cup tomato ketchup
13. ) 2 cup green coriander chutney
14. ) pinch of black paper powder
METHOD :
1. ) Place a chapati on a clean and dry surface. Spread green chutney and arrange potato slices, capsicum rings over it and season/sprinkle with chaat masala, salt , sandwich masala & black pepper. Grate processed cheese over it and cover with another chapati.
2. ) Again apply green chutney on the chapati on top and arrange cucumber, tomato slices over it and season with Season/Sprinkle with chaat masala, salt , sandwich masala & black pepper. Grate some more cheese and cover with another chapati.
3. ) now Apply green chutney, arrange onion slices and season with chat masala, salt , sandwich masala and black pepper. Grate some cheese & cover it with another chapati.
4. ) Heat oil & butter in a pan. Place the prepared chapati sandwich on it & cover with a lid for 2 minutes or till the top gets crispy.
5. ) Flip it over carefully using a plate & let the other side get crispy. Cut the chapati sandwich into pieces using a sharp knife or with pizza cutter.
6. ) Serve hot with tomato ketchup. Green Chutney and grated cheese.
How to make green chutney :
Blend chopped coriander leaves, chopped green chilies, ginger, cumin powder, chaat masala, lemon juice and salt with a little water until smooth.
